Second Chance Culture is an environment that embraces the idea that individuals who have made mistakes or experienced setbacks should be given an opportunity to redeem themselves and try again, rather than being permanently defined by their past.
We believe in fostering a community where growth, understanding, and second chances are central, helping individuals rebuild their lives and contribute positively to society.
Our Programs
We provide children in foster care or DHS custody with a new pair of shoes, ensuring they feel cared for and supported during a difficult time in their lives.
Family Support
We assist families in need by providing food and essential resources, allowing parents to focus on what matters most — their children and building a better future.
My Story
All my life, I have been in and out of jails and institutions, fighting my demons. At thirteen, I began using drugs and doing illegal things, which led me to spend my teenage years in the Division of Youth Services, eventually graduating to prison. In total, I’ve done nine years behind bars.
I used to tell myself that if I had a second chance, I would do differently. But I didn’t put in the effort. It took me going to prison four times before I truly understood. Now, I want to give back — starting with the children of the future. I believe everyone deserves a second chance, and I’m committed to helping make that possible.
